Award for Excellence in Vegetarian and Vegan Care Catering 2024
We Made to Finals!
On Monday 28th October 2024 Marigold had a pleasure to attend Awards for Excellence in Vegetarian and Vegan Care Catering, hosted by Vegetarian for Life, a UK charity dedicated to supporting elderly vegetarians and vegans and improving the quality of their life.
The event at the prestigious House of Parliament celebrates the chefs, caterers and suppliers providing vegan and vegetarian options in care settings. With a staggering 24% increase in last decade of vegan and vegetarian residents in care homes; meeting their requirements for nutritional, balanced plant-based meals is a necessity the care facilities must fulfil.
2024 Awards for Excellence celebrated vegan and vegetarian innovators and trendsetters in UK care system, in categories including caterers, suppliers, recipes and products. We are very proud to announce that Marigold Engevita Vit D & B12 Nutritional Yeast Flakes made to finals as Chefs’ Hero Product, recognised for its nutritional values, including essential vitamins D and B12, as well as for its great cheesy flavour.
