When Marigold was looking to find a means to demonstrate the delicious cheesy flavour of Engevita® Nutritional Yeast Flakes at a national trade show, the idea of creating small bags of popcorn sprinkled with the product seemed to offer a good solution. The experiment proved so popular that people kept returning to the Marigold stand for more single serve samples. This was the genesis of Marigold Popcorn Plus.

Using a special blend of fortified Engevita® Nutritional Yeast, Marigold produced a 20g bag of a tasty, vegan, savoury popcorn snack which could deliver more than the daily requirement of vitamin B12 and most of the average daily requirement of vitamin D. Each bag of popcorn contains only 94 calories and is gluten free.
