Rice ‘N’ Veg

Our veg Bouillons are the answer to great natural deliciousness in an instant. No need for any other seasoning for the perfect midweek family supper.
Recipe tip: This recipe can easily be scaled up or scaled down and you can choose the chopped veg that you add. Remember, up to 30 plants a week is the new thinking for optimum health.
What you’ll need:
350g basmati rice - 60g to 70g grams per person
1 dessert spoon of our Veg Bouillon dissolved in 1 litre of boiling water
Plenty of chopped mixed veg – we’ve used kale, carrots, sweetcorn and peas
How to do it:
Add your rice to the bouillon mix and gently bring it to a simmer.
After 5 minutes add the longer cooking veg, such as carrots, and after 10 to 12 minutes add the remaining veg. Cook gently with the lid on until all the vegetables and rice are tender.
Turn off the heat then put a tea-towel over the top of the pan with the lid on top to allow the rice to further steam for up to 10 minutes.
Serve with some slices of lemon and enjoy the amazing flavour and seasoning from the bouillon which makes this dish a proper meal.
